Campaign Management
A Canadian Google Ads agency running Search, Performance Max, Shopping and YouTube — in English and in French. Clicks that turn into customers, not just spend.
Démarrer un projetWhat our Google Ads management covers
Google Ads management means running the whole account, not just topping up a budget: campaign structure, keyword research, ad copy, conversion tracking and bid optimization. It suits Canadian businesses that need qualified enquiries this week rather than in six months. At Bollé Communications two envelopes always stay separate and visible — the media budget you pay directly to Google, and our management fee.
What sets us apart is that we run accounts in both official languages. A Canadian account targeting Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary and Vancouver alongside francophone Quebec cannot be managed like a single-language account: keywords, search intent, landing pages and even peak hours differ from one market to the next. We build separate campaigns per language and region, then compare what each one actually returns instead of hiding everything inside one average.
You own your Google Ads account, your conversion data and your history. If we stop working together we remove our access and everything stays where it is — that is a starting condition, not a favour.
What our Google Ads management covers
Search campaigns
Reach people already looking for what you sell. Structure built around purchase intent, exact and phrase keywords, tight negative lists, and responsive ads tested continuously.
- Keyword research in English and French
- Campaign structure built around purchase intent
- Responsive search ads tested in rotation
- Search terms and negatives reviewed every month
- Full ad extensions (sitelinks, callouts, calls)
- Smart bidding driven by a target cost per acquisition
Performance Max and Demand Gen
Google's automated formats perform well — when they are supervised. We feed Performance Max real audience signals and brand exclusions so it finds new demand instead of cannibalizing the traffic you already earn organically.
- Asset groups split by product line or service
- Audience signals fed by your first-party data
- Brand, placement and app exclusions
- Image and video assets supplied, never left to chance
- Demand Gen for the discovery stage
- Hard numbers comparing PMax against classic Search
Google Shopping and Merchant Center
For online stores, a clean product feed is worth more than a budget increase. We clean up the catalogue, fix Merchant Center disapprovals, and segment campaigns by margin rather than by category.
- Merchant Center setup and policy compliance
- Product feed and title optimization
- Enriched attributes (GTIN, brand, availability)
- Segmentation by margin and stock turnover
- Dynamic remarketing on viewed products
- Free listings switched on
YouTube and the Display network
Get known before you get bought. We place your video on YouTube and your banners across Display, using audiences built from your own visitors and customers rather than generic interest targeting.
- YouTube In-stream, In-feed and Shorts campaigns
- Responsive display banners adapted for EN and FR
- Remarketing segmented by stage of the journey
- Placement, topic and content exclusions
- Video produced in-house by our own team
- Measured lift in branded search volume
Landing pages and conversion
A campaign is never worth more than the page receiving it. We audit your pages, remove the friction that drives paid traffic away, and build dedicated landing pages where they are needed — in English and in French.
- Audit of your existing landing pages
- Dedicated pages per campaign or offer
- Genuinely distinct EN and FR versions
- Form and phone call tracking
- Load speed and Core Web Vitals
- A/B tests on headlines and calls to action
Measurement, compliance and reporting
Without reliable measurement, optimization is guesswork. We install full tracking — GA4, conversion tags, offline conversions — with consent handling that meets Quebec's Law 25 and Canadian privacy expectations, then deliver a report you can actually read.
- GA4 and Google Ads conversion tracking
- Enhanced conversions and offline import
- Consent management aligned with Law 25
- Always-on Looker Studio dashboard
- Monthly report written in plain language
- Cost per acquisition broken out by market and language
Our Google Ads management process
Audit and access
We start by looking at what already exists: the Google Ads account, its history, conversion tracking, landing pages and the competition on your keywords. You leave with a clear list of what is wasting budget — even if you decide not to work with us.
Strategy and budget
We define the markets to target (English Canada, francophone Quebec, or both), the target cost per acquisition, and how the budget splits across campaign types. You see costed scenarios before committing a single dollar.
Building the account
Campaign structure, keyword research in both languages, ad copy, tracking installation and landing page checks. Nothing launches until conversion measurement is trustworthy.
Launch and learning phase
The first two to four weeks are for gathering data. We watch search terms daily, cut the obvious waste, and let the algorithm settle before judging performance.
Ongoing optimization
Every month: search term review, fresh ad tests, bid and budget shifts between markets, new audiences. Decisions are made on conversions, never on click counts.
Reporting and next steps
A commented monthly report in plain language: what was spent, what it returned, what we are changing next month and why. Followed by a call if you want to talk it through.
FAQ
Google Ads — frequently asked questions
There are two separate amounts. The media budget goes straight to Google: for a Canadian SMB it usually sits between $1,500 and $5,000 per month. The management fee goes to the agency: typically 15% to 30% of media spend, or a flat monthly retainer of roughly $800 to $3,500 depending on account complexity (indicative ranges — to be confirmed per project). Our Google Ads cost guide breaks down each line.
Around $500 to $800 per month in media spend for a local market or a niche (indicative range). Below that, Google does not gather enough conversion data to optimize bidding, so you pay for the learning phase without ever reaching the profitable one. If your budget is tighter, concentrate everything on one market and one campaign type rather than spreading it thin.
Yes — it is what we are built for. We create separate campaigns per language and market, with distinct keywords, ads and landing pages for English Canada and for francophone Quebec. French ads are not translations of the English ones: search intent and phrasing do not carry across word for word, and the cost per click differs between the two markets.
The first clicks arrive on launch day, but usable data takes two to four weeks, and performance usually settles between month two and month three. Accounts whose strategy changes every week never reach that stability — it is the single most common cause of wasted budget we find in audits.
You do. We work inside your account, or create one in your name, and you keep ownership, history and conversion data. If we stop working together we simply remove our access — nothing to reclaim, nothing to rebuild.
They answer different needs. Google Ads buys immediate visibility and stops the day you stop paying; SEO builds durable visibility but takes months to produce. The most cost-effective combination for an SMB is Google Ads generating enquiries now while organic search does the long-term work.
Yes. Our offices are in Montreal, Beloeil and Saint-Georges, but Google Ads management is handled entirely remotely and we serve clients across Canada, in English as readily as in French. Meetings happen by video call and reports are delivered in the language you prefer.
